Levelhead, Car vs Driver, Act of Faith,

September 24, 1994 - First appearance by Levelhead on the Car Vs. Driver flyer archive. Great band. I'll post their single sometime.

Act of Faith, Car vs Driver, Broken,

June 3, 1994 - This was a big show. Probably the largest show Car Vs. Driver had played so far at the Somber Reptile. Act of Faith were always nice to include us on their shows, even though we were not in the same style of hardcore, but they were inclusive like that.

WGHR Benefit 1994

January 8, 1994 - Habeus Corpses gets top billing. All the best local bands at the time, including Picasso Trigger. I barely remember this show, and didn't know WGHR before this (we've never heard of you either). WGHR was the Marietta Tech radio station, and Steve Wishart had a punk show on it when he was studying Civil Engineering. I still have a few records lifted from the WGHR vaults in my collection.

Car vs. Driver - Live at the Somber Reptile

Here are the downloads:

These are all soundboard recordings transferred from cassette by Steve Wishart (Such As, Car vs. Driver, Scout, Fields Lay Fallow, To The Mean). Some of these are pretty rough, in both sound quality and performance, but we didn't have the greatest in recording technologies at our disposal, or musical ability for that matter. People seem to like our Live at WREK shows as the best representation of the live Car vs. Driver sound, but I'm posting everything for completeness' sake. For your information, I'm not sure what the lineup of the Fall 1993 show was, but the 11/7/93 show was with Freemasonry and Bite, the 12/12/93 show was with Spiney Norman and Drive Pipe, the 9/24/94 show was with Act of Faith and Levelhead, and the 12/30/94 show was with Scout, Inkwell and Lowboy.

By the way, Steve is moving to Guatemala in a few weeks with the AFLCIO, and plans on being there for several years, so I would like to wish him all the best on his new life in Central America.

Levelhead, Act of Faith, Quadiliacha, Weston

June 14 at the Somber Reptile with Levelhead, Act of Faith and Weston. Even though Weston is the out of town band, I'm sure Act of Faith headlined and packed the place out. During this time they were a bigger draw for Atlanta shows than any other hardcore band in the country.

Chokehold, The Difference and Act of Faith

April 29, 1995 at the Somber Reptile with Chokehold, The Difference and Act of Faith. Ricky Martin promotes hardcore.
